Stena Line has two terminals in Gothenburg, one heading to Kiel, Germany and this terminal for travellers heading to Frederikshavn, Denmark. The Denmark terminal is further east on the Göta River close to the Masthugget District. The terminal is well signposted from the E6 and can also be reached by tram.
Please note: Boarding is only possible by vehicle for departures outside terminal opening hours or for departures onboard Stena Vinga. Boarding as a foot passenger is not possible on these departures.

Leave the E6 at junction 75A to take the E45 west along the river. You'll pass by the terminal then reach the entrance approximately 600m past the terminal building.
Car Park
There is parking available outside the front of the main Stena Line terminal building. This can be paid for using Preem, ST1, Statoil, Shell, Diners, Amex, Volvocard, Mastercard and VISA cards. The main car park opens daily from 06:15 – 20:30 and is also open for night ferry departures and arrivals. There are two disabled parking spots on each floor close to the exits.

If you come to Gothenburg by train, you can get to our terminal by tram. You can travel on lines 3, 9, or 11 and disembark at Masthuggstorget / Stena Danmarksterminal.

A taxi can be taken from the train and bus station; taxis are available adjacent to the platform. If you want to order a taxi from another address in Gothenburg, you can do this on +46 31 650 000. Travel by taxi to the terminal takes about 5-10 minutes from central Gothenburg.
