24hr Ferry Sailing Updates to Ireland, Britain, France & Holland

Your travel information, updated 24 hours a day.

It has been announced that the ferry berths at Holyhead Port will remain closed until at least 15th January. All ferry services between Holyhead and Dublin are cancelled until this time. We are currently in the process of contacting all affected passengers. We understand the disruption this causes and are working hard to offer alternative travel options. For passengers who were booked to travel on Holyhead – Dublin from 20th December onwards, you can transfer your booking free of charge and with no fare difference payable to alternative routes including: Birkenhead (Liverpool) to Dublin: motorist bookings only on this route, Fishguard to DublinFishguard to RosslareCairnryan to Belfast & Liverpool to Belfast.

Passengers travelling with pets

Due to the high demand for pet cabins and pet kennels, we have created a temporary overflow area onboard Stena Adventurer (Fishguard – Dublin), Stena Estrid (Birkenhead (Liverpool) to Dublin), Stena Edda and Embla (Birkenhead (Liverpool) to Belfast) for pets travelling in pet carrier cases. Owners must remain with their pets, in the dedicated area onboard for the duration of the crossing. Pets in carriers must be pre-booked on these vessels, this can be done online at stenaline.co.uk and stenaline.ie.
To accommodate as many pets as possible in our Pet Lounge onboard our Cairnryan – Belfast route, we will temporarily restrict the number of people accompanying their pets into the lounge. All pets must be pre-booked and travel in pet carrier cases.

Customers can amend or cancel (with full refund) their bookings online for free at stenaline.co.uk or stenaline.ie. If you prefer to speak with our team, please call us from the UK on: 00443447707070 or from ROI on: 0035319075555. Please note, we are experiencing extremely high call volumes and longer wait times than usual. Our team is working hard to assist everyone as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding.
