Group Travel Information

It is a legal requirement to record the details of every individual passenger travelling. Passenger lists should be completed via the link on your e-ticket at least 2 weeks prior to your departure date.

 

If you are unable to complete the passenger list via the 'Passenger List' link on your e-ticket, you must download and complete our Guest Passenger List Excel Document ensuring you enter the details for every travelling passenger . Save as an EXCEL DOCUMENT (do not scan) and email the Excel document to group.travel@stenaline.com at least 2 weeks prior to your departure date.

 

The information required is:

  • Initial or First Name
  • Surname
  • Gender
  • Age (adult 16 and over, child 4-15, infant 0-3)
  • Nationality
  • Any information concerning the need for special care or assistance in an emergency situation.

Payment Terms

 

Deposit

 

If you do not have a Stena Line credit account, a £200 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. If the deposit is not paid within 7 days of booking, your reservation will automatically be cancelled.

 

Balance Due

 

Final numbers and full payment is required 29 days before departure date.

 

Cancellation Fees

 

For bookings cancelled

(days prior to outward departure):

 

29 days or more before departure date:

Loss of £200 deposit

 

28 up to 15 days before departure date:

15% cancellation fee 

 

14 up to 4 days before departure:

50% cancellation fee

 

Less than 4 days before departure:

100% cancellation fee

 

Charges will apply for individual passengers cancelled less than 4 days before departure. No refunds will be given.

Passengers with Wheelchairs or Walking Frames

 

If a member of your group is travelling with a wheelchair or walking frame, you must pre-book a space as we only allow a limited number per sailing for safety constraints. Please contact us as early as possible to avoid disappointment as spaces are very limited and are subject to availability

In the event of a delay or cancellation to the booked Stena Line sailing, our maximum liability to the group/tour operator will be the total cost of the booking plus, if applicable, any compensation due under EU Maritime passenger rights (EU Regulation 1177/2010). We will endeavour to assist in re-booking or re-routing via the most appropriate means possible, however your group members must have the appropriate documentation to allow for this. Any incidental or third party expenses should be covered by travel or other insurance which is strongly recommended.
