When you visit Idre in winter, you can enjoy skiing, the sparkling frozen lakes and the snow-covered forests. Skiing and Snowmobile experiences

 

Ski holiday Idre Fjäll is a favorite among both alpine skiers and cross-country skiing enthusiasts. With 40 pistes of varying degrees of difficulty and 80 km of cross-country trails, of which 30 km are illuminated, there is something for everyone. All the slopes start from the ski stadium at Västbacken, and you will love the fantastic scenery along the paths that lead to Lake Burusjön and the majestic Städien and Nipfjället mountains. The snowmobile trails around Idre stretch over 2,400 km, giving you a fun and exciting way to explore the beautiful landscape. Älvdalen offers two large areas for snowmobiles: the Nordic Area in the south and the Snöskoter Area Norra Dalarna in the north.

 

Indoor Activities for the Whole Family

 

If you prefer to stay warm indoors, Idre Fjäll Activity Center also has fun experiences to offer! The center has bowling alleys, an arcade, a gym, indoor swimming pools, a sauna and a place where you can play badminton, table tennis, basketball, volleyball and much more!
